If it sounds too good to be true...

I just received a call from a very polite gentleman informing me that I'd won a $1000 gift card.
He informed me that I was eligible for the prize because I have either a Mastercard, Visa, Discover, or American Express card. All I had to do was confirm which of the cards I carry and verify the card number....

I have a feeling I'm really going to enjoy spending that $1000....

If he calls back give him my # I have all four cards, maybe I can get $1000 for each of them! :) Scary to think that some people actually fall for this!

You should tell him that your husband's a lawyer--an identity theft lawyer--so he has a whole bunch of credit cards, and the phone guy should definitely call and talk to him. Unbelievable. Have you heard the Jury Duty scam going around? Up the same alley, but not quite so obvious.

Wow, is that totally legit? Way to go! Now there's nothing to complain about right?

Ha ha ha! Hilarious!
Get this... a guy we had clear some weeds in our backyard in Herriman 2005 called and said that he never cashed our check and that we owe him $215. He still had the check so it was legit but still .... 3 years ago? AGHHHH!
So tell that credit boy to call my house!
