The Secret to My Success

A friend passed on a good cleaning tip, and I've decided to pass it on to all of you because it is AMAZING. To remove carpet stains, dilute 2-3 tablespoons of liquid Tide laundry detergent in warm water, and scrub. I tried this today in our living room, and it worked so well I ended up scrubbing almost the whole carpet. The room looks so much better. It's such an economical, effective cleaning tool - it makes me happy. Try it.

This is a great tip for me, especially since our already NASTY bathroom carpet met up with Eliza's potty training. Yikes. I think I'll use more than a tablespoon or two, though.

I read your advice yesterday. I don't have any Tide but it motivated me to at least put some effort into keeping the carpet clean under Morgan's booster seat. I had stopped caring since it's "not my carpet" But it IS my carpet, at least for the next 10 months (not that I am counting down our lease that ends on June 31. It looks so much better. I will try the Tide for the cat throw up stains in our front room-or whatever it is

Hey, thanks for the tip! I can't wait to try it. Yesterday I sat Makai down on the floor without realizing he had had a blow-up. I've scrubbed the floor three times with three different things, and I still can't get the poop smell out. It's making me sick. This is my last hope. I hope it gets stains and smells out.
